These images were conceived to empower women. The term "crowning glory" comes from the scripture in the first book to the Corinthians in the eleventh chapter where Paul is expressing that women don't need the fundamentalist covering of an actual cloth but can be covered naturally and modestly in God's sight with their own hair. I utilize the flowing lines of my feminine figures hair to capture the emotion and expression of each figure.
