Artist Carmel Rose Smith uses the passing moods of nature as a way to observe, study and practice her skills as an artist. "There is nothing like working from nature to keep an artist honest. I return to drawing and observation painting all the time, as a pianist will continue to play scales throughout even a stellar musical career."
