Hi, Sensory Processing Disorder is a disorder that affects the brains senses, some types of SPD are Tactile, Smell, Audible, and Vestibular. Things like Tactile Defensiveness basically means you process touch much differently than most typical people. You can be under responsive, or hypersensitive (Which is what I am.) For me what it means is that things that feel soft and plush to you feel like knives cutting through my skin. Or for people with Audible means noises that the average person barely hears can be like a tornado siren right in their ear. It's an awful thing to go through which is why I want to help. I love taking pictures and then I found this site. What better way to help SPD than sell the outcome of my favorite activity for SPD research? And all it costs for just a print is 9 dollars. Just 9 dollars! You may think "Nine dollars? That's hardly gonna do anything!" But think of it this way. You pay 9 dollars and get 9 other people to each pay 9 dollars that's already 90 dollars!! And let's say 9 other people pay 9 dollars and get 9 other people each to pay just 9 dollars. That's about 900 dollars! Now you may be thinking "How do I know you won't spend it all on toys or something?" You don't. But you do know I go through the problems of SPD everyday. Why wouldn't I want to help find better treatment or a cure? Thank you.
