Welcome to my gallery! The images you see are mostly watercolor and mixed water media.. I haven't been painting in water media for very long a time,Only a few years. Oil is the medium I began with about 30 years ago. Drawing at an early age taught me the basics of design, form, and visualization of subject. In lieu of school work and home work, I would draw what I imagined or was inspired by. All the basic elements of visual art rendering are in each medium and genre, only technique and style set each one apart. If I have any one key to successful painting it must be the study of the dynamics of light. I frequently get back to basics when having difficulty by asking myself " What would light do?"
