A collection of posters celebrating the history of soccer (or as it is known in the wider world, football). The first World Cup ( Or Mundial de Futbol, as it is known in Spanish) took place in Uruguay in 1930. This worldwide competition has taken place every four years since then (only interrupted by WWII) and it probably is, along with the Olympic Games, the most watched sports event on the planet. I started this collection with 3 posters (Uruguay 1930, Italy 1934 and Brazil 1950). I expect to complete the gallery with a poster for each World Cup (including South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014) by the end of July 2010.
