Images from various wanderings, some close to home, and some quite far. I try not to see the world or its places in terms of their distance from one another, however. The things I find at all the various distances only convince me more and more of how much we have in common. These images are no mere snapshots to me; they really are treasures. But that is because every snapshot that I have taken is a treasure to me, a fine moment in my existence, one that I can always return to and share with others thanks to the achievements of all those who have worked to develop the field of photography. For me the charm of being able to preserve these moments and the impetus to share them are the reasons for my art.
